Titti Garelli

Titti Garelli was born in Turin (Italy), where she currently lives and works.
She studied art under the guidance of the painter Sergio Saroni at the Art Academy in Turin.

For over twenty years her works have been requested by the publishing industry and by major international advertising agencies, such as M.Cann Erickson, J.W. Thompson, Young & Rubicam, Leo Burnett.

 

She worked with European well known brands as Barilla, Chicco, Mulino Bianco, Invicta, Findus, Jegermeister, Nestlè, San Pellegrino.

 

In 1990 she started exhibiting her paintings in many art galleries in Italy and abroad.

In 1991 she was discovered by the Fogola brothers, owners of the famous library “Galleria Dantesca” in Turin. For them,  she illustrated with lithographs (6 of those painted by hand with watercolours) “Les Fables de La Fontaine”. The most precious edition, numbered and signed in 75 copies. For the same publisher, in 1998 she illustrated a collection of poems: “Il Cestello”.

In 2000 she exhibited in New York, from Williamsburg to Soho, one of her most discussed works: “Le Bambine Cattive” (“Bad Little Girls”).

Her latest works are part of the “Gothic Queens” cycle, currently ongoing project.

Titti Garelli is also open to work on commission and portraits.

From time to time, she works as illustrator for Caffarel (one of Italian chocolate’s best known brands) and teaches Illustration at the Fine Arts Academy in Cuneo (Italy). Check out her advertisement art.
